Week 2




Communicating with people from around the world 

The first chat i had was a girl from Los Angeles, her second life name was NovaDaTruth in Helping Haven Gateway which was quite a small place which didn't have many people which made it harder too find someone to chat to .NovaDaTruth was probably the most successful chat i had as it was the longest chat i had and the person i found out the most about.

 
she seemed nice and friendly i thought it would be less awkward over chat rather then speaking.After that chat i took a break  and went on it again the next day i tried to talk to people but i wouldn't get a response so it was hard to find people that actually wanted to talk.










The second chat i had was with a girl (i'm assuming) And her character was called Braedina she seemed nice but are conversation didn't last long i feel like online conversations are harder to maintain where in real life i feel like people can bonce off each other. The place i met her was The Portal Park it was like an enchanted forest with a portal


Next person i talked to was an avatar called Pryce he was from a previous chat room but he didn't reply quick enough so i left that chatroom . Are conversation was very short and not that interesting .


I don't think i had the most successful chats i ended up going to 5 Chatroom and i started chats with around 7 people and and only 4 responded.i feel like there is still a kinda of stigma of talking to strangers which is completely normal in are generation so much internet stalking happens and cyber bulling that it is normal for people to not get interactive with people online.Its kinda shame that there's so much good in the internet yet so much bad at the same time.

week 8 part 2

We ’ ve been having  a bit of a discussion on if we actually want to do fast fashion  because we thought that maybe another group would have done it  and we   kinda  didn't want to have the exact same  project  a s another group    so yeah I kind of thought that  another group    would do fast fashion  and at this point  there were  no slides on the Google slides document  and we could have really changed topic if we wanted to  topic  but   I'm glad we didn't   i  did however ask two of the groups what they were doing just to make sure it  wasn’t  fast fashion so  then we then proceeded  to go ahead with the presentation  and   chenming  was the first person to have the  slides   done   , I made a little brainstorm on what I wanted to include in my slides I also watched a few  documentaries  which really helped me understand the p roduction and the waste that it produces. Week 3

The Team project  I'm in the Red team with CrimsonChocobo  and  ChenmingZhang Unfortunately we didn't meet that weekend in second life due to how busy we were and the fact we didn't have any other type of contact apart from second life it was hard to get a hold of them because obviously i'm not and there not gonna be active all the time on second life,I kinda didn't know who they were and i left the class in second life as soon as it was over as i had to do something after, so i kinda failed to communicate with them after the class and it was hard to find them because i didn't know if there username on second life was there real name or not, so it was hard to find them on social media especially because i didn't know what they looked like or there real name.I Managed to private message Crimson m y phone number on second life and i knew she'd eventually get it and before the next class we were able to set up a group on whats app. I think are meeting d

Week 1

Why i chose this module I chose this module because i thought it was interesting and kinda a class in the future  i thought it would be fun to try and of course its different from any other modules .i'm very interested in the futurist things and wanted to see how this class would work. Exploring second life  Ballroom The first place i went to was apotheoses Ballroom ,Hibdon when i got there i explored the site and also tried to get used to how to move and fly. the inside was elegant and put together the music was good the outside was like a frozen movie scene. i really liked the scenery didnt really interact with anyone in this chatroom apart from the people in my class.
